Love this guitar. If I had the money I would buy it and I’m not even a big Gibson fan. 1937 J-35 that was unable to be strung up when it came in. The top was a mess with some previous bad repair work. I did the bad repairs over, plus I gave it the attention and additional repairs that were needed for it to continue on as somebody’s guitar. This guitar is for sale and it needs a good home. Call us and we will pass along the dealer’s name to you.

Here is a video of a beautiful beat up 1947 Martin D-18. Somebody had filled all the pick wear in the top with putty. We removed it to expose it’s injuries in all their glory. Nashville flood survivor that we re-built and refinished. 1937 Martin 00-18 belonging to the Roy Acuff collection. I think it sounds better after the flood than before. Good to see it ready for a long future ahead. The work was extensive and time consuming, but the guitar plays and sounds great and is structuraly sound.
